Consultation and Advisory Services
Our consulting services deliver practical, fit‑for‑purpose health and safety solutions tailored to your workplace. We work alongside your team to achieve the best outcomes, recognising that not every organisation needs a full‑scale consulting approach.
By understanding your challenges and priorities, we ensure you receive the right support at the right time. From meeting regulatory requirements to strengthening your health and safety culture, we’re here to help—no matter the size or scope of the task.
Let’s talk about how we can best support your team.
Risk Management
Effective risk management starts with understanding your risks and knowing whether your controls are working. If you need clear visibility of workplace risks, our practical,
interactive approach provides a strong place to start.
Successful risk management identifies risks that could impact your business objectives—including health and safety, operational, financial, legal, and reputational risks. Used across operations, projects, and governance, it helps you prioritise what matters most and ensures risks are actively managed.
In simple terms:
Risk management answers the question, “What could impact our key business goals?”
Why it matters
You can’t manage what you don’t identify. Strong risk assessment is the foundation of safer work, smarter decisions, and effective hazard control. Designing out risk early is faster, safer, and far cheaper than fixing problems once work is underway.
Risk Assessment Workshop – Capture and turn risk knowledge into a clear, actionable register for informed decision-making.
Safety By Design – Identify and eliminate risks at the earliest design stages – before construction or implementation.
Safety by Design Assessments
Eliminate risk before it becomes a problem.
Our Safety by Design Assessments help ensure safety is built into your project from the earliest design stages—before construction or implementation begins. By identifying and addressing risks early, you can avoid costly changes, delays, and rework down the track.

Risk Workshops
Do you need to create or build upon your risk register? How do you know if the controls in place are working? If you would like to gain insight about the risks and hazards in your workplace, how harmful they are and if the controls are in place and working, then this interactive workshop is a great place start. The results are a draft risk register with clear actions to make H&S improvements.
Our workshop involves a comprehensive record of the risks from a range of perspectives. Information gathered is then used in the creation of an effective risk register.
Our consultant facilitates the process, drawing on the expertise and knowledge of your team. We make it relevant, interesting and interactive. Together we will:
- Identify as many hazards and associated risks as possible
- Assess the risk and impact of each hazard and rate against a matrix
- Identify controls, (those in place and those needed)
- Establish monitoring expectations
For the best results, it is important to involve all key stakeholders from across the organisation and at all levels, including most importantly, those closest to the risk: workers
The output is a draft risk register and actions to improve health and safety. This can be verified, and monitoring measures assigned.
The Risk Assessment workshop is an opportunity for networking across departments, exchanging ideas and creating a shared understanding. This process brings the team together and results in an instructive health and safety resource for your business.
Each organisation is different and so each workshop is different too! We tailor each workshop to your organisation shape and size.

Health & Safety Strategy Development and Annual Planning
We often find our clients are struggling to create a clear strategy to meet their H&S goals. Your system maybe developing, improving, or maintaining, no matter where you are, a review of the previous year and plan for the year ahead is essential.
Health and safety plans should include but are not limited to:
- Specific goals and objectives
- All areas of your system (Governance, worker engagement, risk management, contractor management, etc)
- Actions with task owners
- Timeframes and deadlines
- How you will track and measure performance
We can support you through this process.
Contractor Management
When you engage contractors and/or sub-contractors, a contractor safety management system should be part of your business processes. These systems can look very different depending on your businesses industry, nature, operations, and risks. Our experienced consultants can ensure you have the correct systems in place to manage your contractors and ensure they are working safely with the correct risk mitigations and controls in place.
- How do you know your contactors are maintaining all applicable licenses and insurance?
- Are they meeting health and safety expectations?
- Are you and your contractors aware of risk mitigations and controls?
- Are new contractor orientations and relevant training taking place?
If you’re not sure on any of the above questions, or feel there is room for improvement, let’s discuss how we can assist you.
